On October 21, Hanersun delivered the first batch of TOPCon high-efficiency module, Hitouch 5N CP18-54H, of which module efficiency up to 425W, to the Switzerland customer on schedule. It symbolized that Hanersun officially commercialized its TOPCon technology to the market with mass production.
HITOUCH 5N series, which launched in June, adopts 182mm TOPCon solar cells. The TOPCon technology can effectively reduce cell surface compound and metal contact compound, increasing module efficiency up to 22.38%, and bifacial rate to 80-85%. Together with the nearly zero LID/LeTID effect and outstanding outdoor low irradiation performance, this advanced high-efficiency module can surely bring extra profit to the customers.
As one of the key markets of Hanersun, Switzerland has accelerated the development of renewable energy in recent years. According to the disclosure of Switzerland’s Federal Office of Energy (SFOE), the country deployed around 683 MW of PV in 2021, which grows by 43% compared to the PV deployment volume of 2020, the demand for solar segments in Switzerland is increasing rapidly. As for 2022, based on BNEF`s forecast, up to 700-900 MW of new PV capacity could be deployed in Switzerland this year.
With the strong willingness of countries to transition to clean energy, the PV industry chain is constantly being upgraded. TOPCon technology, as an important development route, has high efficiency and cost-effectiveness attributes. Hanersun will be relentless in R&D and manufacture cutting-edge products to help global enterprises develop their sustainable energy systems, confronting the energy crisis together and reshaping the new world of low carbon.
